Bonfire Night is a great opportunity to dress up warm, head outdoors, and spend quality time with friends and family. We’ve compiled a list of local bonfire and fireworks events for you to choose from, so pick your favourite!

Friday 1st November 5.30pm - Morchard Bishop, Pulzar and Laser Light Show Extravaganza

The evening promises to be a fun-filled experience for adults and children alike. It will feature an impressive LED light display instead of fireworks. Enjoy food, a licensed bar, music, a Guy competition, a bonfire and a stunning laser light show. Please be aware that parking is limited in the village and at the school car park. Tickets can be purchased from the Church Street Village Stores, the Primary School office, The London Inn, and Morchard Bishop Parish Councillors. Tickets are £10 for adults, while accompanied children under 16 can enter for free.

Friday 1st November  7pm - Cheriton Fitzpaine Bonfire & Fireworks

Returning for another year, this event is set to be one of the top local fireworks displays. The gates will open at 5:30pm, with the fire being lit at 6:00pm and the fireworks commencing at 6:30pm. After the show, there is a free disco and raffle at the Half Moon pub.  Admission is £5 for adults and £3 for children aged 5 to 16 years.

Tuesday 5th  November  7pm -  Cheriton and Tedburn YFC's Fireworks & Bonfire Night

This year’s Fireworks and Bonfire event run by Cheriton and Tedburn Young Farmers Club will be hosted by Drakes Farm & Cafe, Higher Fingle Farm, EX6 6NP. Enjoy a BBQ and bar during the evening.

Wednesday 6th November 5pm - Newton St Cyres School PTA Charity Firework Display

The village’s annual display, organised by FANS, the Newton St Cyre’s School PTA, will take place at the recreation ground. The gates will open at 5pm, with the fireworks scheduled to begin at 6:30pm. Attendees can enjoy food from the Beer Engine, hot drinks from the Turning Tides Project, and a bar. Additionally, glow merchandise and sweets will be available for purchase. Please remember to refrain from bringing sparklers. Tickets can be purchased at the gate, and there is parking available at both the recreation ground and the school. Adults £6, children £3 and under 4s are free.

Wednesday 6th November  6pm – Zeal Monachorum,  The Waie Inn Bonfire & Firework Display

Join the Waie Inn on Wednesday 6th November, for our annual Bonfire Night firework display. The festivities will kick off at 6pm, with a variety of delicious treats available outside, including hot dogs, soup, cakes and more. If you'd prefer to dine indoors, please be sure to book a table in advance to secure your spot. The fireworks display is by British Champions, Sonic Fireworks. 7pm Bonfire, 7.30pm fireworks. £5 per person, pay on arrival.
