Crediton In&Around is the first and only website, supported by a vibrant and popular social media presence, to promote everything our brilliant town and villages have to offer. Launched in 2020 by a local charity, the Crediton Heart Project, it includes a lively mix of business listings, articles by local people, a calendar of events and visitor information.
The site has been professionally designed and is run almost entirely by a team of experienced volunteers. Thanks to the generous support of Crediton Town Council and other funders, we have not charged anyone for listing on the site. Our aim is simply to strengthen our community by sharing useful information and positive stories, enhanced by excellent photography and social media activity.
We already attract over 1000 visitors to the site every month, many from beyond the Crediton area. Instagram has a monthly reach of over 7000 accounts and content interactions and followers are steadily increasing. Our Facebook page has a monthly reach of over 5000 people with an average of 1000 post engagements.
